The following is the daily maintenance of the coordinate grinder:

I. Cleaning and maintenance

Machine exterior cleaning: After each use, the external surface of the machine tool needs to be wiped with a clean soft cloth to remove dust, oil and swarf and other debris to keep the appearance of the machine tool neat and clean. For difficult to remove stains, you can use the appropriate amount of detergent, but to avoid the use of detergents containing acidic ingredients, so as not to damage the surface of the equipment.

Internal cleaning: regularly open the protective door and cover of the machine tool, use a special vacuum cleaner or compressed air gun to remove the dust inside the machine tool, especially the table, guide rail, screw and other parts, to prevent dust from entering the mechanical transmission components and electrical systems, affecting the normal operation of the equipment.

Clean the coolant tank: regularly empty and clean the coolant tank, remove impurities, chips and oil in the coolant, and replace it with new coolant to ensure the cleanliness and cooling effect of the coolant. At the same time, check the level and concentration of coolant, add or adjust as needed.

Second, lubrication system maintenance

Check the lubricant oil level: Regularly check the lubricant oil level of each part of the coordinate grinder, such as the spindle box, guide rail, screw nut, etc., to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range. If the oil level is too low, the lubricant should be added in time to meet the requirements of the machine tool.

Replacement of lubricant: Replace the lubricant regularly according to the recommendations of the machine tool manufacturer. Generally, replace the lubricant every 1-2 months during initial use and every 3-6 months thereafter. When replacing the lubricant, clean the oil tank and filter at the same time to remove impurities and dirt from the oil and ensure that the lubricant is clean.

Grease filling: For some sliding parts and bearings of the machine tool, such as the guide rail slider, screw support bearings, etc., need to be regularly filled with grease. Filling should pay attention to the right amount, to avoid too much or too little grease, affecting the lubrication effect.

Third, mechanical parts inspection and adjustment

Guide rail inspection: Regularly check the flatness, straightness and lubrication of the guide rail to ensure that the surface of the guide rail is smooth, no wear and tear, no scratches. If the guide rail is found to be damaged, it should be repaired or replaced in time. At the same time, clean the guide rail and reapply lubricant to reduce friction and wear.

Screw nut inspection: check whether the fit gap of the screw nut is appropriate, if the gap is too large, it will affect the positioning accuracy and machining accuracy of the machine tool, and need to be adjusted or replaced in time screw nut sub. In addition, it is also necessary to clean up the oil and debris on the screw to prevent it from entering the inside of the screw nut and affecting the transmission accuracy.

Spindle inspection: check the rotational accuracy of the spindle, axial runout and radial runout is within the permissible range, such as abnormalities, the need to find the cause and repair in a timely manner. At the same time, check the spindle lubrication and cooling to ensure that the spindle in good working condition.

Belt inspection and adjustment: Check whether the elasticity of the transmission belt is appropriate, too loose or too tight will affect the service life of the belt and transmission efficiency. If the belt is found to be loose, the belt tensioning device should be adjusted in a timely manner so that the belt to achieve the appropriate degree of tension; such as belt wear is serious, it should be replaced in a timely manner.

Fourth, the electrical system maintenance

Check the line connection: regularly check whether the electrical line connection of the machine tool is firm, there is no loose, false connection, damage and so on, to ensure the normal power supply and signal transmission of the electrical system. If found line problems, should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner damaged wires and connectors.

Cleaning electrical components: Use a clean soft cloth or brush to gently remove dust and debris on the surface of the electrical components to prevent accumulation of dust leading to poor heat dissipation or short-circuit failure of the components. For some critical electrical components, such as inverters, drives, PLCs, etc., special attention should be paid to cleaning and maintenance.

Check the grounding situation: Make sure the machine tool is well grounded and the grounding resistance should meet the requirements of relevant standards. Good grounding can effectively prevent electrical equipment due to leakage and safety accidents.

Fifth, the maintenance of tools and grinding wheels

Tool inspection and replacement: Regularly check the tool wear on the coordinate grinding machine, according to the service life of the tool and machining accuracy requirements, timely replacement of badly worn tools. When replacing the tool, pay attention to the installation accuracy and clamping force of the tool to ensure that the tool is firmly installed.

Grinding wheel inspection and balance: Check the appearance of the grinding wheel for cracks, breakage and other defects, if there is any problem, the grinding wheel should be replaced immediately so as to avoid wheel rupture accidents in the grinding process. In addition, the newly installed grinding wheel or the grinding wheel after using for some time need to carry out static balance debugging, in order to ensure the smoothness of the grinding wheel in high-speed rotation, to improve the quality of grinding.

Sixth, regular calibration and accuracy testing

Regular calibration: In accordance with the requirements of the machine tool manufacturer, the coordinate grinder is calibrated regularly, including the positioning accuracy of the coordinate axes, repeatable positioning accuracy, perpendicularity, parallelism and so on. The calibration work should be carried out by professional personnel using professional testing tools and equipment to ensure that the machining accuracy of the machine tool is always maintained within the specified range.

Machining accuracy testing: In the daily machining process, the machining accuracy of the machine tool can be tested regularly by machining standard test pieces. If any deviation in machining accuracy is found, the cause should be analyzed in time and corresponding measures should be taken to adjust and repair, such as recalibrating the machine tool and replacing worn parts.
